Association Featured in the “A Word for Life” Magazine

In the May edition of the magazine A Word for Life (Reč za život), the CIDP, GBS and MMN Patients Association of Serbia was featured.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the organization and the magazine for their generous support and for providing us with the opportunity to present our young association to a wider audience.

The A Word for Life magazine, founded and published by the Association "Život" (Life), is the first and only magazine dedicated to rare diseases in the Balkans. Published since 2015, its mission is to reach healthcare professionals, physicians, patients, patient organizations, public institutions, and the wider community.

Available in both print and digital formats, the magazine is distributed to all relevant institutions, including the Ministry of Health, the National Health Insurance Fund, the Serbian Medical Chamber, public health institutes, clinics, hospitals, pharmacies, laboratories, patient organizations, schools, and other educational institutions throughout the Balkans, as well as to parents and families of children affected by rare diseases. The print circulation is 5,000 copies, although experience has shown that demand exceeds this number.

In 2018, A Word for Life received the prestigious Black Pearl Award from the European rare disease community. This award belongs to Zoja and to all children living with rare diseases, who have made all of us better people.
